About MIR
The New Perspectives Foundation is implementing Millennium of Info Reality (MIR), multi-purpose and multi-level project.
The project is to involve young people into the IT field, to maintain their unbreakable link with hi-tech areas of life and economy,
creating information culture of Russian youth.
There are 2 important components of MIR project activities:
MIR is a point where two parallel environments meet: virtual reality and real world. Using the operational Internet portal,
we’ll provide international partners with the opportunity of creation a full-fledged regional resource.
The project is aimed at providing equal opportunities for youth in using their personal capabilities and equal access to all resources.
Different format events, organized within the frameworks of MIR, are aimed at development of the life skills young people acquired
in virtual world for their further successful use in real life.
One of the basic areas of project activity is creation of global information social network of partner organizations,
working in the field of state youth policy and information society development.
